Dear Undergraduate, Graduate & Professional Students,
As online classes begin next week, we have heard concerns regarding internet access from some of you in the New Orleans area. Local internet providers have said that they expect to have internet services restored across Orleans Parish no later than today, Sunday, Sept. 12. However, we wanted to provide some uptown and downtown options for students who may still experience connectivity issues. Students should bring their Tulane IDs to access these spaces. As a reminder, the uptown campus will remain closed to students until Sept. 24 in order to fully prepare the campus for the resumption of in-person classes on Sept. 27.
Downtown Spaces:
Hutchinson: Large Auditorium
1430 Tulane Avenue
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday - Friday
Tidewater: Diboll Auditorium, Diboll Gallery, Grab ‘n Go
1440 Canal St.

The Shop at the Contemporary Arts Center
900 Camp St.
9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday - Friday.
(Students will need to show their ID at the 3rd floor reception. Tulane has 20 reserved spaces)
Uptown Space:

We know that many students in the greater New Orleans area are anxious about their access to internet. We hope that these spaces will ease some of those concerns.
Sincerely,
Erica Woodley
Dean of Students
