Dear Tulane Community,

As mentioned in President Fitts' last message, Tulane has established the Hurricane Ida Employee Relief Assistance Program for those experiencing financial hardship after the storm. This program is open to qualifying, benefits-eligible employees. It offers a $500 grant, as well as a zero-interest loan up to $1,000.

For more information, please visit: hr.tulane.edu/hurricane-ida. The link to submit an application for a grant or loan is expected to be available by September 6, 2021. The deadline to apply for assistance under this program is November 1, 2021.

Louisiana homeowners and renters in affected parishes may also visit FEMA’s Disaster Assistance for additional relief opportunities. FEMA also offers a catalog of other federal assistance programs that storm survivors may be eligible for, which can be found here.
