Dear Student,
We are so excited to welcome you back to campus later this week. Over the last several days, we have gotten many inquiries and concerns about transportation from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport to campus. Though we believe that Uber, Lyft, and taxi services will be able to support the return of our students, we have decided to also offer a limited shuttle service on Friday and Saturday to offset demands on these commercial services. Shuttles will pick up and depart from the airport at the times below, which is when we anticipate most of our students will be returning:
Friday, September 24th & Saturday, September 25th
- 10:00 a.m.
- 12:00 p.m.
- 2:00 p.m.
- 4:00 p.m.
- 6:00 p.m.
*The shuttles will pick up in the arrival area at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and drop off students on the uptown campus and at the Hyatt Regency, by request.
We cannot guarantee shuttle pickup for every student arriving on Friday or Saturday but hope that this free service makes the transition back to campus better for everyone, by increasing the availability of Ubers, Lyfts and taxis for those who aren’t able to take our shuttle.
