Linguistics is at the intersection of many disciplines; therefore, core faculty members are drawn from programs in the School of Liberal Arts and the School of Science and Engineering.
The 4+1 Master’s Program is a 30-credit degree program. The doctoral program offers a wide-ranging approach to the study of human language. Students work closely with their faculty mentors and engage in empirical research early in their doctoral career.
