This is our departmental meeting lunch. Typically in the past, our department would request a larger sum of money and stock up on snacks in bulk for our meetings. After a vote, since our meetings are later in the day this semester, and we've just run out of snacks, we're opting to do lunch instead. These meetings are a time for us to discuss our research, share our service to the department, and to converse about common projects and initiatives currently going on within the department. It is also an opportunity for all students to come together and for more advanced ones to give advice to newer ones.
