Krewe du TU is a spirited volunteer program exclusively for Tulane University faculty and staff!

Each time you volunteer at approved events, your hours are accumulated and can earn you fabulous rewards. Whether you're helping at Book Fest, Unified Commencement, Move-In, or Day of Service, every hour you contribute brings you closer to the Tulane community while earning exciting perks.

Hour Submission
To start earning rewards, simply look for events featuring our special QR code. By scanning the code, you can easily log your volunteer hours. No QR code in sight? No problem! Just ask the event staff for help or use the Volunteer Hours Submission Form to submit your hours. Each hour you log gets you one step closer to your next reward!
The deadline to submit hours is June 30th each year. Please note that hours will reset annually on July 1st and won’t carry over.
Hour Redemption
Your hard-earned hours are your ticket to exciting rewards, and redeeming them is as easy as lending a helping hand! Krewe du TU offers a variety of perks that recognize your dedication to making a difference.
You can check your hours here using the Official Hours Log, which is updated regularly. The more hours you accumulate, the bigger and more meaningful the rewards become. Rewards will be distributed at the end of the spring semester.
Be sure to keep an eye on your hours total and make your redemptions before July 1, when hours reset for the new volunteer year. After all, your service is invaluable, and we want to celebrate it with the rewards you deserve.

Current Volunteer Opportunities
There is nothing quite like welcoming our new and returning students to campus each fall! Join us this year to help with this special time! Housing and Residence Life needs volunteers to help with First Year Student Move-In from Sunday, August 10th through Tuesday, August 12th, and Returning Student Move-In from Wednesday, August 13th through Saturday, August 16th. We are primarily looking for golf cart drivers, but there are other opportunities as well to help support this very important milestone in our students’ Tulane experience. We are looking for volunteers to assist us in a variety of positions. The volunteer krewe includes teams that coordinate both front and back of house event production, including greeters, ushers, info desk representatives, room monitors, and more. Volunteers will meet and collaborate with colleagues from across campus to participate in this exciting flagship event.
Last year’s homecoming, reunion, family weekend was one of our best-attended ever, and this year is shaping up to be even bigger. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help welcome guests to campus and assist with check-in during this exciting weekend.
Volunteering is a great way to connect with the full Tulane community—alumni, parents, families, students, faculty, staff, and friends. Plus, volunteers receive a Wave Weekend Pass and a free t-shirt as a thank-you!
