2023 Annual Bike Roundup

Saturday May 27th 8:00 pm - Sunday May 28th 4:00 am

Location: Uptown Campus

Annually, following Commencement, members of the Tulane University Police Departmentremove bicycles locked to fixed objects (bicycle racks, handrails, trees, etc.).Abandoned bicycles take up valuable space on campus bicycle racks for the upcoming summerprograms and make the university a target for potential incidents of theft. This year, bicycleremoval will occur May 27, 28 between the hours of 8 pm. and 4am.,so as to not interfere withthose who commute by bicycle during regular business hours. Faculty, staff, and students shouldnot allow their bicycles to remain on campus overnight during this date range. If a bicycle mustbe left on campus overnight, please tag the bicycle as being in use by placing a yellow tag on thehandlebars. The tags can be picked up in the TUPD Office of Diboll. If your bicycle is collectedby mistake, contact the Tulane University Police Department at property@tulane.edu in order toschedule an appointment to have your bicycle released.
