Daily COVID Testing Requirement for Chapter Members and Participants of IFC Recruitment

February 3, 2021

Dear Chapter Members and Participants of IFC Recruitment,

Wishing you the best on these last two days of recruitment. Based on recent surges in positivity rates post-Panhellenic recruitment, we are writing to let you know the university is requiring you to participate in daily COVID testing for virus prevalence. Our goal is to promote safety and partner with you to keep our community safe; as recent University communications have emphasized, you should continue to limit your daily activities and take all due precautions for the next two weeks.

Plan on scheduling tests at the Tulane Uptown testing center Thursday and Friday. You should have received a test QR email yesterday or this morning to schedule a test for Thursday; a second will be forthcoming to allow you to schedule your Friday test.

Please note, if you have previously tested positive since the beginning of November, you may disregard this request and the QR emails to get tested. If you need clarification on when you should rejoin the surveillance testing program or any other testing questions, please email chtestresults@tulane.edu. If you have questions related to your specific chapter, contact the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Programs at greek@tulane.edu.

Thank you so much.
