Daily COVID Testing Requirement Extended for All IFC Members

February 5, 2021

Dear Current and Brand New IFC Chapter Members,

Congratulations on a successful recruitment process, and to all new members we are thrilled to welcome you into the Tulane Greek Community.

Thank you for participating in the past two days of daily testing, based on our numbers we are requiring this daily COVID testing through Monday, February 8th. This daily testing is directly in line with our goal to create the safest environment possible.

As we enter the weekend, please remember yesterday’s community email that reminded us all that Tulane is still under Safer-at-Home restrictions and to limit your daily activities, ensure 6ft social distancing, and wear your mask at all times. While the message is for our entire Tulane community, it is especially important for our Greek community due to the recent lessons learned post-Panhellenic recruitment where we saw a significant surge in sorority women testing positive.

As before, if you have tested positive since the beginning of November, you do not need to engage in this daily testing. If you have any questions about testing protocols and scheduling tests, contact CHTestResults@tulane.edu. If you have questions related to your specific chapter, contact the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Programs at greek@tulane.edu.
