Tulane Arrival Center Volunteers

August 3, 2020

Dear Colleagues,

Our student arrival/move-in is fast approaching and we need your Tulane spirit and your exceptional greeting skills, as we welcome students and parents to the new TU Arrival Center. The arrival center, at which students with on-campus housing will be tested for COVID-19 before coming to campus, is not only a crucial element of our commitment to public safety, but also an opportunity to welcome our students and their families and share our institutional values and our expectations for the coming year. We are encouraging all faculty and staff across the university to consider assisting by signing up to volunteer for morning and afternoon shifts scheduled daily from Friday, August 7th through Monday, August 18th.

Please complete this volunteer form to confirm your availability. Please know that your safety is our number one priority. An arrival task force member will follow up with you to provide additional details regarding your volunteer role, safety precautions, attire (arrival team t-shirts), logistics, on-site timekeeping support, and more. All volunteers will be provided with meals, beverages, scheduled breaks and have an opportunity to engage in some FUN activities during your shifts!

Thank you so much for volunteering to welcome our Tulane family. We couldn’t do it without you. The two of us will be taking our shifts, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Please take a few minutes to complete the volunteer form today.
