Some of the things you can do to prepare for the unexpected, such as making an emergency supply kit and developing a communications plan, are the same for both a natural or man-made emergency. Knowing what to do during an emergency is an important part of being prepared and may make all the difference when seconds count.
3 DAYS ~ 3 WAYS
The message is simple, be ready to survive on your own for a minimum of 3 days following a disaster.
For large disasters, you may not receive any government assistance for up to 7 days.
For pandemic flu outbreaks, officials suggest you have at least 2 weeks of supplies on hand.
