Looking A Lot Like Homecoming

October 28, 2016

Dear Tulane Community:

It's beginning to look a lot like Homecoming everywhere you go – from the carnival midway and tailgating village sprouting up on the LBC and Newcomb quads to the streams of families and alumni returning to campus. I've even seen several students sporting green hair. Actually, I'm not sure if this is specifically for Homecoming or a style for all seasons, but either way I like the spirit!

As you read this I will be preparing for another Homecoming tradition, the annual Town Hall meeting that will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., today in Dixon Hall. During the Town Hall, I will answer questions many of you submitted via The View from Gibson, as well as those from the audience of parents, alumni, students, staff, faculty, friends and fans in attendance. If you can't make it to the Town Hall, you can follow the action and submit questions via our live blog.

The Town Hall is one of more than 50 reunions, open houses, lectures, exhibitions, concerts, firework displays and other special events taking place today. For details on all these events, as well as Homecoming happenings through Sunday, including tomorrow’s big matchup against SMU, click here.

Since my morning will be consumed with questions, I have one of my own – “Are you ready for Homecoming?”
