About Devoney Looser: 

Looser is the Regents Professor of English at Arizona State University. She is the author or editor of eleven books on the history of the novel, women's writing, and Jane Austen, as well as a series of video/audio lessons on The Life and Works of Jane Austen for The Great Courses.
