Apply to Tulane

When you click ‘apply,’ you’ll be in good company—standing alongside students who are eager to join one of the nation’s most selective research institutions, learn from faculty who are as impressive in the classroom as they are adept at scholarship, and start making some real change in the world starting, say, tomorrow.

Undergraduate Admission

Apply for fall admission until January 15 (or June 1 if you’re transferring). We accept both the Common Application and our own online application.

Are you from Louisiana? Our Focus Louisiana program encourages our best home-grown talent to study here.

International Admission

If you’re from another country, the undergraduate admission process is largely the same as it is for students from the U.S., though there are a few additional requirements and forms.

Transfer Admission

Every year, we welcome about 175 transfer students to Tulane, most of whom have cumulative GPAs of 3.0 or higher.

Graduate Admission

Each school at Tulane administers its own admission process for graduate students. Contact the school you’d like to apply to directly, or visit the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies for more information.

Paying for Tulane

If you think Tulane is right for you, but you’re not sure about the cost, don’t turn away—on average, entering students who prove financial need receive a financial aid package worth nearly $40,000.

International students are also eligible for financial aid.
