Members of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Cathy Langhoff, left, and Martha Bouman sew a flag onto a canvas back in the Naval ROTC Building on the Tulane University uptown campus. The flag, which flew over the USS New Orleans during the attack on Pearl Harbor, is on permanent loan from the National Archives in Washington, D.C. It will be framed and put on display in the Tulane Naval ROTC headquarters.

A historic flag is prepared for display on campus.

Bonnie Cook, left, Nadine Meyer, center, and Faith Moran are among members from five different DAR chapters that have been working in shifts to prepare the flag for mounting.
