Even before the cast of “Big Brother 14” moved into its house, Ian Terry, a Tulane engineering student and this season’s youngest houseguest, was making it known that he’s no amateur when it comes to strategizing a win.

The 21-year-old native of Pittsburgh who is representing New Orleans, revealed that part of his game-winning strategy is to make alliances within the house. But during the show’s media blitz, held the week before move-in day, he made sure not to disclose all that he had up his sleeve.

Terry, who recalls watching “Big Brother” and “Survivor” at the ripe age of 10, said he has seen and studied most episodes of both shows.

When asked about his biggest accomplishment in life, Terry told CBS, “My proudest accomplishment so far in life is going to Tulane, far away from my family and old friends, studying the hardest major I could possibly take and surviving it for three years.”

Well, Ian … we’re all cheering for — and watching — you!

The season premiered on July 12, showing that Terry was starstruck when he learned his “all-star coach” would be former Big Brother houseguest Mike “Boogie.” Be sure to check your local listings for air times for future airings. You also can watch Terry’s preshow interview here
