Tulane Marching Band

Laura Sosa, right, and Christina Borne, ride the rhythm of the music as they perform with the Tulane University Marching Band during a pep rally for the DirecTV Beach Bowl, a celebrity flag football game that took place downtown on Saturday (Feb. 2). Earlier in the day, the band performed inside Mardi Gras World for the DirecTV Tailgate Party. It was all part of the hoopla surrounding the Super Bowl. The band can now turn its attention to more serious stuff: closing out the Carnival season by performing in parades by Krewe d'Etat, Krewe of Bacchus and Krewe of Rex.
