Nadine Vorhoff Library
The Nadine Vorhoff Library has begun its transition from a circulating collection to a non-circulating special collection library. Books can no longer be checked out directly from the Vorhoff Library. Books previously available from the Vorhoff Library can be checked out using the online Tulane library catalog. For books you are interested in finding, use the "Make a Request" feature in the online library catalog. These requests can also be made directly, in-person, at the Circulation Desk in the Learning Commons of Howard-Tilton, on the library's first floor. This will allow the standard 24-hour (weekdays) turnaround for access to materials.
Please return any books checked out from the Vorhoff Library to the Howard-Tilton Memorial Library.
Some books currently held by the Vorhoff Library will remain in the Vorhoff as non-circulating items. Staff at the Vorhoff are in the process of working with these special collection books, including the culinary history collection, a selection of women's prescriptive literature, the Newcomb authors collection, the Custard sexuality collection, and a collection of third wave feminist zines. Please visit the Vorhoff Library to access these materials.
The Vorhoff will continue to remain open as a study space during this semester.
