We are planning a day of community service at the Greater New Orleans Therapeutic Riding Center. This riding center provides hippotherapy (therapeutic riding) for people with disabilities in the New Orleans area and much of their staff is made up of volunteers. We would be assisting grooming, tacking up, and leading the horses. This would be a great event because it blends horses with service in the community!
