2018 New Orleans Myasthenia Gravis (MG) Walk

Location: Uptown Campus
Lafreniere Park in Metairie

***Transportation to this event WILL be provided!!! A Tulane shuttle will take us to the event, so we'll be meeting at 8:30 AM at Diboll Garage (the side closest to the gym) to meet the shuttle. We will be leaving the walk at noon to head back to campus. See you there!***

About the Walk: The MG Walk raises awareness of and helps those with Myasthenia Gravis. Myasthenia Gravis is characterized by rapid fatigue of muscles under voluntary control caused by breakdown in the communication between nerves and muscles. While there is currently no cure, treatment can help relieve symptoms. The MG Walk also raises funds for the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America (MGFA), the only national volunteer health agency in the U.S. dedicated solely to Myasthenia Gravis.

Day-of registration for the walk starts at 9:00 AM, with the walk itself beginning at 10 AM. We're excited to participate in this awesome event and hope you can make it with us!
