Reopening Committees

On Friday, May 1, President Mike Fitts announced the formation of committees of top leaders, students, faculty and staff in academics, research, facilities, housing, dining, workforce and other vital areas to gather information and make recommendations to map a safe return to on-campus learning and working.

The reopening committees have submitted recommendations for review. These recommendations will be shared university wide and virtual Town Halls will be hosted by President Fitts for input and feedback from June 3-9. Final decisions regarding the timeline and requirements for opening, informed by input from the university community, will be communicated shortly thereafter.
