 Join the Tulane Black Arts Festival on 2.20 as we focus on Arts & Activism in the Community. Our second event for the day will be a screening of the documentary "Strong Light" by filmmaker Patrick Melon on Brandan 'Bmike' Odums' art project #ProjectBe which was named NOLA.com's top art exhibit of 2013. There will be a Q&A to follow.

Panelists are the ProjectBe creator Brandan BMike Odums, spoken word artist and activist FreeQuency, Uptown Messenger Reporter jewel bush, noted Educator Activist and Poet Kalamu ya Salaam, and filmmaker Patrick Melon, 

Screening: 7:00-7:50pm
Panel Discussion: 7:50-8:15
Q&A: 8:15pm
