Be in that number and get vaccinated!

April 7, 2021

Dear Tulane Student Community (Undergraduate, Graduate and Professional Students):

As you hopefully learned yesterday in the special memo from Tulane Campus Health, the COVID-19 Vaccine is now available in Louisiana for anyone age 16 and older. In addition, Tulane has received a vaccine shipment to inoculate our Tulane Community immediately – students, faculty, and staff. I am writing to encourage you to get your vaccine now, in New Orleans, before many of you leave for the summer. We are trying to make this as easy as possible for you. You can schedule your vaccine appointment using the information below. There will be special evening hours for all students at the Tulane Vaccine Clinic on Thursday, April 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. We are also offering prizes for any student who has received the full vaccine anywhere, and provides that documentation to Campus Health before May 3rd.

The two most important steps you can take right now are 1) get vaccinated, and 2) provide documentation to Campus Health if you have been fully vaccinated outside the Tulane system or will be declining the vaccine.

Be in that number and get vaccinated!

Sincerely,

J. Davidson “Dusty” Porter, Ph.D.
Vice President for Student Affairs

Complete these two things by May 3rd and be eligible to win prizes:
  • GET Vaccinated (either the Johnson & Johnson one-shot, or BOTH shots of Moderna or Pfizer)

  • REPORT your Vaccination to Campus Health by May 3rd

*IF you have been vaccinated at the Tulane Vaccine Clinic you do not have to report your vaccination with Campus Health.

*IF you have been vaccinated by some entity other than the Tulane Vaccine Clinic – please report your vaccination with Campus Health here.

You will then be entered into a drawing for some fantastic prizes, including: AirPod Pros, AirPods, an iPad, or WaveBucks for Fall 2021. Be sure to follow the Campus Health Facebook and Instagram channels for additional prize announcements!
