E-mail, Blackboard, and Gibson Online Accounts
Creation of Tulane e-mail, Blackboard, and Gibson Online accounts requires efforts from the hiring department, the employee, Technology Services, and Workforce Management Organization.
Initiation of a NewHire PAF will trigger creation of an e-mail account and Tulane ID. The Hiring Manager listed in TulaneJobs will receive an e-mail containing the employee name, Tulane ID, Tulane e-mail, Tulane e-mail user name, and temporary password. Additionally, instructions regarding changing the temporary e-mail password will be included.
Access to Blackboard Course Scheduler and Gibson Online will not be active until the employee is entered into the WFMO database.
