Tulane Retirement Fee Disclosure Notice

 

Announcing a new Participant Disclosure Notice for the Tulane University 403(b) Retirement Plans

In the next weeks, a new Participant Disclosure Notice will be provided to participants in the Tulane University 403(b) Retirement Plans (‘the Plans”). The Notice is a new requirement by the Department of Labor (DOL) to help ensure that participants receive sufficient information regarding their plan and the investment options available to them. For most participants, this Notice will be provided on an annual basis.

The Notice contains information that can help you make informed decisions about any account you may have in any of the Tulane sponsored Retirement Plans and includes:

  • Fees and expenses related to a Plan account
  • Participant rights under the Plan
  • Rules related to providing investment direction
  • Details about the Plan’s investment options, including investment-related fees and restrictions
