Wave of Green: Monday, April 1, 2013

On April 1, 2013, which is the Monday after Easter and the last day of Spring Break, please join President Cowen and your fellow staff and faculty members for the third annual Day of Service. As Tulanians, you consistently demonstrate your active citizenship and commitment to our community’s prosperity through your work here at the university, and we hope that you will take part in this meaningful community service day.

This year we will be volunteering with several organizations in the Central City Neighborhood for the 3rd annual Wave of Green Service Day. They include:

The deadline to register is March 15. We do need you to register, as we will provide round-trip transportation from campus to Central City, snacks and beverages at the volunteer sites, and are planning a closing lunch at Turchin Stadium for all participants. Volunteers are requested to check in at Turchin Stadium at 8 a.m. Buses will return to Turchin at 1:30 p.m. for the closing lunch.
