
Wave of Green: Friday, March 16, 2012Tulane University will blanket City Park in a Wave of Green as faculty, staff and alumni volunteers will assist in the park's recovery efforts. Only individuals who have a direct affiliation with Tulane can participate; spouses and children cannot volunteer unless they are Tulane students, employees or alumni as well.
Parking is available in the Rosen Lot and the Diboll Complex. Volunteers will check in at Turchin Stadium at 8 a.m. Buses will leave from the Rosen Lot by 8:30 a.m. to take volunteers to their work sites. Lunch will be provided on site. Buses will return volunteers to the Wilson Center at 3 p.m.
A closing celebration with food and drink will be held near the baseball stadium from 3-5 p.m. All volunteers will be given a free baseball ticket to the March 16 game against Brown at 6:30 p.m. at Turchin Stadium. Only volunteers are invited to the party and eligible for the free ticket.
The event will take place rain or shine. Volunteers are encouraged to dress appropriately (no open-toed sandals), wear a hat and apply sunscreen and insect repellant.

The deadline to register is March 2. All Tulane employee volunteers must print and sign this acknowledgment form and bring it to check in at the Wilson Center on March 16.
