Seminar Summary:
Americans spend millions of hours a year sitting on the job. This lecture will educate the audience about how to best prevent problems like neck pain, back pain and wrist problems by showing them how to sit properly without twisting or slouching. It will also give them exercises that they can do during their breaks that will increase performance and productivity.
Speakers:
Dr. Benjamin Dichiara D.C. is a Graduate of Texas Chiropractic College and Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology. Dr. Dichiara has professional certifications in Active Release Technique, Graston Technique, Physical Therapy, and he is a Certified Kinesio Taping Instructor.
Dr. Nelson "Chip" Curtis, D.C. is an Honor Graduate of Life University in Atlanta Georgia as a Doctor of Chiropractic. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology. He was a personal trainer for twelve years and specializes in sports injuries. Dr. Curtis was a scholarship athlete through college and played Rugby for the U.S. National Rugby Team.

Early detection is the key to managing many illnesses and diseases. Biometric screenings are short physical assessments that track a small number of significant indicators of a person's overall health.
During the months of September, October and November health care professionals will be on campus to perform these confidential screenings.

The cost is $20 and cash, credit card or check will be accepted. The clinics are available for all Tulane faculty and staff. Registration is not required.
