COO & Senior VP for External Affairs

As Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President for External Affairs, Yvette Jones is responsible for providing leadership and essential resources for policy direction. She oversees several departments including Institutional Advancement, University Strategic and Campus Planning, University Communications and Public Relations, Government Affairs, Institutional Research, Board Relations, Technology Transfer and Business Development, Technology Services and the Workforce Management Organization. Jones is directly responsible for guiding the university to raise $700 million for endowment, capital and other programmatic purposes.
