Some systems require manually replacing Social Security Numbers (SSN) with the TUID. To facilitate this process, Technology Services is providing a “lookup tool” available through the Gibson portal. To access the lookup tool, go to https://gibson.tulane.edu/ and login with your Tulane username and password.

Technology Services will finish the transition to the Tulane ID (TUID) number as the primary way we identify individuals in Tulane systems on December 23. For most customers, this means that you will no longer see Social Security Numbers displayed in reports or on screen and you will not be asked for your SSN. Some SSN uses will remain, mostly for purposes associated with governmental functions and payroll. For example, you will still need to include your SSN on your W-2 form. Your TUID number is printed on your Splash Card.
