Administration
The goal of this folder is to store content owned by units that will be shared solely within the named unit’s and that supports the units mission and day-to-day productivity:

Requirements:

• First level folders must be named offices that constitute the President’s Cabinet,
• Folders must be hierarchal organized from top level down,
• Top level offices must provide approval for next level folder creation,
• Folder ownership must be a named individual

Schools and Colleges
The goal of this folder is to store content owned by the following academic units that will be shared solely within the named unit and that supports the unit’s mission and day-to-day productivity:

• Newcomb-Tulane College
• School of Liberal Arts
• School of Science and Engineering
• School of Law
• School of Medicine
• School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine
• School of Business
• School of Architecture
• School of Social Work
• School of Continuing Studies

Research Centers
The goal of this folder is to store content owned by self-selected units that:

• Share or deliver content that supports academic research and scholarship,
• Include research and scholarship as a mission critical activity

Services
The goal of this folder is to store content owned by self-selected units that:

• Share or deliver essential content to members of the university community who are external to the named unit.

Examples include:
Distribution of the Conflict of Interest form
Distribution of (what is the name of the health & safety .ppt qiz…?)

Requirements:

• The top level folder name must conform to a named university organizational unit,
• Folder ownership must be a named individual

Campus Life
The goal of this folder is to store content owned by self-selected units that:

• Share or deliver non-essential content to members of the university community external to the named unit, but within the university,
• Include the sponsorship of co- or extra- curricular activities as a mission critical activity,
• Are student organizations

Requirements:

• Folder ownership must be a named individual
• Student organizations must be officially sanctioned
