WaveMail is Tulane's primary email system- a partnership with Microsoft's Office 365 environment serving students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Technology Services continues to work with our vendors to address the following issues:
1) Several users have reported bounced messages to valid Tulane addresses from Tulane addresses. This has been identified as a bug and Microsoft is working on code to fix this issue.
2) Microsoft is working on a solution to fix form issue when editing a group in OWA.
3) Microsoft and Citrix continue to work on a permanent solution with regard to IPv6.
4) Two users have reported a problem with their BlackBerry devices not syncing email. Currently this is being investigated.

Technology Services is implementing a solution to correct the recent WaveMail issues. The change will go into effect at 10pm, Wednesday, April 10. All users must reboot their computers at the start of business on Thursday, April 11 to reconnect to the network and email.

On Friday, April 5, Microsoft will upgrade Tulane's online WaveMail service. After the upgrade, users will notice changes to the WaveMail web interface, as well as some new features. There will be no change for desktop Outlook or Smartphones and mobile devices.

Please note that this upgrade affects only users of the Outlook Web App (OWA) found at:
The upgrade will happen automatically and requires no input from the user – nothing needs to be changed on the computer, in Outlook, or on any mobile device. Outlook Web App users may need to sign out and then sign back in once the upgrade is complete.
The WaveMail/Office 365 issue is resolved. Email and all other Microsoft applications are functioning normally.
