Student Programs, a department in the division of Student Affairs, maximizes student learning, personal development and achievement in student organizations through advising and services. The Student Programs staff are educators committed to excellence in all areas of programming, leadership development and extracurricular learning.
Director of Student Programs

Christine oversees the overall operation of the Office of Student Programs as well as all directors, activities and events that fall within the Office. She works closely with Student Programs advisers, student government leaders and the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs to ensure that the department is providing both student group advising services and comprehensive student programming. Additionally, Christine focuses on campus programming and works with departments throughout Student Affairs to help plan and organize events.

Tel advises all media organizations: The Hullabaloo newspaper, WTUL 91.5-FM, TUBE-TV, Literary Society/Tulane Review, Messenger multicultural newspaper, Media Board and the Tulane Journal of International Affairs. She co-advises many academic and political organizations and helps organizations obtain and learn to use email, listserv and web accounts. Tel assists with planning department-sponsored events and produces department publications and forms.
Associate Director of Student Programs - Advising

Daphne advises the Associated Student Body (ASB), the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GAPSA), and the Undergraduate Student Government (USG). She also answers questions related to starting, developing and advising student organizations and manages the student organizations database. Finally, Daphne is responsible for developing leadership curriculum and coordinating leadership programs on Tulane's campus.
Associate Director of Student Programs - Programming

Greg helps Tulane University Campus Programming (TUCP), Crawfest Committee, Tidal Wave and other groups plan large-scale campus events, and advises many student organizations, such as THEM, Juggling Club and Humans vs. Zombies. He reviews contracts for all student organizations and helps groups with event planning. In addition, Greg is the lead organizer for Student Programs events, such as the weekly FAQs and Activities Expo.

Vanessa manages the preferred vendors list, accepts and processes student organization event registration forms and contracts and payment forms. Vanessa is a great resource for students and organizations working with the event planning process.

Adrien advises the Associated Student Body Motor Pool, schedules reservations and certifications for van use and oversees the maintenance of the vehicles. Adrien advises the Hullabaloo advertising and business staff and helps WTUL track its fundraising efforts. Adrien also advises Students Organized Against Racism (SOAR).

Jane supervises the budget process for all student organizations recognized by student governments. She can answer questions related to your organization's finances including budget proposals and payment methods for supplies or events. Jane also advises the Undergraduate Student Government and Graduate and Professional Student Association finance committees, helps coordinate events and FAQs and leads the monthly student organization adviser meetings.
Assistant Director of Student Programs
The Assistant Director is responsible for co-advising the student government programming committees as well as serving as primary adviser to a number of organizations on campus, including Tulane University Campus Programming (TUCP). The Assistant Director is responsible for hiring, training and evaluating the student workers of the Student Organization Center (SOC) and for overseeing the operations of the SOC. Additionally, he/she will coordinate all of the marketing efforts for the Office of Student Programs
