Hello all,

The Tulane University Cycling Association will be hosting the Green Wave Cycling Classic on March 17th & 18th. The race will conducted as a collegiate stage race (RR/Individual TT/ Criterium scored by total time) and will attract the top collegiate cyclist from the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. This race represents a big step forward for Tulane Cycling and will serve to promote collegiate /junior cycling in the state of Louisiana.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help us pull this race off. We cannot offer much in exchange for your help, but we will try to provide lunch and coffee at the very least. We are looking for volunteers for the below.

  • Saturday 3/17/2012 7am-8:45am:  Pre-Race Registration in Enon, LA - 6 people (Race Check in and set-up)
  • Saturday 3/17/2012 830am- 1pm: Road Race in Enon, LA – 12 people. (Course monitors & follow cars (preferably with vehicles large enough to accommodate racer wheels)

  • Sunday 3/18/2012 8am-1:30pm: Criterium New Orleans, LA – 5 people (Course monitors & help with race set up. We are also looking for an announcer/DJ).

If you are interested please contact me through one of the below methods and include any preferences you may have. We absolutely cannot pull this race off without the support of the Louisiana cycling community.

Thank you,
