Initiative 3: Community

Campus

• Create a comprehensive master plan for all campuses and facilities that integrates with the goals of the strategic plan. Define development needs and criteria for a ten-year time frame. Define benchmarks and set goals for measuring productivity and condition of facilities, parking and real estate.

Community Engagement

• Broaden and deepen our current partnerships and create new partnerships with educational, business or community organizations to strengthen our connections in the region in areas that contribute to our educational and research initiatives and respond to local urban problems of national concern.

• Conduct a series of focus groups with members of our local and regional communities to determine Tulane's reputation and position in our neighborhood, in New Orleans and in Louisiana. Establish goals for improvement with a time line and action steps for achieving goals.

International Engagement
