Tulane SSE Honors Outstanding Faculty Researcher and Showcases Student Research Achievements April 11, 2013
On April 11, the Tulane University School of Science and Engineering held its seventh annual Research Day, recognizing the academic contributions and influential achievements of its faculty and students. Held in the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life, the gathering commenced with a presentation of the Seventh Annual Outstanding Researcher Award to Dr. Lisa Fauci of the Mathematics department, as well as student awards for exceptional research efforts.

Dr. Ken Muneoka was honored as the 2011 School of Science and Engineering Outstanding Researcher on Thursday, April 7, 2011.
At 2:46 p.m. on March 11, Tulane molecular biologist Ken Muneoka was on a train near Tokyo, heading north to Tohoku University to check on the progress of a research project. He never arrived, and for that bit of providence, he is a very lucky man.

Science and Engineering Outstanding Researcher Award April 12, 2007
Tulane University’s new School of Science and Engineering presented its first Outstanding Researcher award to physics Professor John Perdew. This event occurred on April 12, 2007 in conjunction with the School of Science and Engineering research day and Board of Advisors activities, held in the new Lavin-Bernick center.
