COURSE OVERVIEW: PolyRMC hosts a semi-annual GPC Academy in collaboration with Polymer Standards and Services, Waters Corporation, and WGE Dr. Bures. The 3-day course offers an in-depth overview of GPC characterization, brief introduction to novel characterization techniques and methods, and a focus on individual attendee applications. Attendees learn the background and practice of GPC (also referred to as Size Exclusion Chromatography, SEC) as well as the latest methods, including multi-detection using light scattering and viscosity, and associated analyses. Alternatives to GPC for polymer characterization will also be presented. There will be a 2-day overview of methods and techniques followed by a 1-day hands on component. This intensive course is for much more in-depth and hands on training than a typical one hour webinar. Throughout the course attendees are taught by world GPC experts and regularly get one on one Q&A opportunities to discuss specific applications with the instructors. This course is ideal for quality control personnel, R&D and analytical departments, process engineers, technicians, etc.
LOCATION: PolyRMC Facilities at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA
EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Friday, October 18, 2013
NEXT SESSION: November 11-13, 2013
