Do I Need a Calculator?

Graphing calculators are required if you are in:

• Math 1110 Probability and Statistics
• Math 1140 Statistics for Business
• Math 1150 Long Calculus I
• Math 1160 Long Calculus II
• Math 1210 Calculus I
• Math 1220 Calculus II
• Math 1230 Statistics for Scientists
• Math 1310 Consolidated Calculus
• Math 2210 Calculus III
• Math 2240 Introduction to Applied Math

We highly recommend Texas Instruments’ TI-84 plus.

If you already have a calculator or need one for other courses, the following calculators will also work:

• TI-82
• TI-83 plus
• TI-85
• TI-86

Note: any calculator with symbolic manipulation is not allowed in these courses.
