EENS 3980 – Environmental Field Study

EENS 3980 – Environmental Field Study is a capstone course for the EENS track of the Environmental Science major.

Alternatively, Environmental Science majors may elect to complete a faculty-supervised, senior research project and receive credit for EENS 4950 – Environmental Science Research, complete an
Honors Thesis, or enroll in EENS 4940 - Environmental Science Capstone Course.

Students electing the field camp option for either major must receive approval from the undergraduate advisor in their respective majors prior to enrolling in a given field camp. An official transcript for the course must be sent to the EENS department by the sponsoring institution.

Environmental Science majors electing to complete independent research must submit a final report summarizing their research findings. This report, combined with an assessment by their faculty mentor, will be used by the major advisor to assess the quality of work completed as part of the capstone experience.
