Christopher Esposito, Ph.D. Graduate Student

My Research

Christopher EspositoI am a graduate student in Kyle Straub's Sediment Dynamics research group, where I study the stratigraphic statistical signatures of channelized depositional systems. Much of my work takes place in laboratory basins, but I do make a point of getting out and hitting rocks with a hammer on a regular basis. My Bachelor's Degree is from Rutgers University (2003) where I graduated with majors in Physical Oceanography and Mathematics. Immediately prior to coming to Tulane, I earned a Master's Degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences from The University of New Orleans.

My Life In New Orleans

In a different life in the distant past, I was a New Orleans high school math teacher.
