Nonconforming Maxwell Eigensolvers
In this talk we discuss numerical schemes for computing Maxwell eigenvalues and eigenfunctions. These schemes are based on a variational formulation defined on the intersection of the spaces H(curl) and H(div). They do not generate spurious eigenvalues and can be analyzed by the classical theory of spectral approximations. Both theoretical and numerical results will be presented.
