Tulane offers dual degrees in cooperation with Johns Hopkins and Vanderbilt Universities.  Dual degree students spend three years in the study of Physics at Tulane and two years studying a specific engineering discipline. After successful completion of the fifth year, the student is awarded the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics from Tulane University and the Bachelor of Engineering (B. E.) degree from Vanderbilt or a second Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Johns Hopkins. Disciplines available at Johns Hopkins include: civil, electrical, environmental, and mechanical engineering.  Disciplines available at Vanderbilt include civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
