Tulane University Heart and Vascular Institute’s Vascular Director Corey Goldman, MD, PhD, FACP, comes to us from New York, where he received his BA in biochemistry and psychology from New York University and his MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He subsequently completed a surgical internship at Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York, a PhD and internal medicine residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham, vascular medicine and vascular intervention fellowships at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, before settling in at Tulane for a cardiology fellowship. Dr. Goldman joined our faculty in 2010 and brings with him a vast knowledge of vascular medicine. His research and clinical work go hand-in-hand in the treatment of vascular diseases and conditions. This year, Dr. Goldman was recognized by “Best Doctors” as an outstanding physician in the field of cardiology.
