METI PEDIASIM
The METI PediaSIM® provides all the same features of the adult Human Patient Simulator® but calibrated to mirror the parameters and responses of the young patient. The patient automatically responds to learner interventions and represents a true-to-life response, specifically isolating critical breakdowns in skill acquisition and critical thinking.
PediaSIM® can be used in a variety of airway trauma scenarios including a swollen tongue, upper airway obstruction, laryngospasm and bronchial occlusion. Learners can practice a variety of therapeutic and clinical interventions like esophageal, nasal and oral intubation, needle cricothyrotomy, defibrillation and needle decompression.
