Timelapse: Nikon Eclipse TE200

Location: JBJ Room 623A
Price: $15/hour for unassisted use and $25/hour for assisted/training use
Capabilities:
• Imaging living samples – FITC / DAPI / RHOD / DIC / Phase
• Multiposition timelapse
• Tiled images

Fluorescent Scopes

If the Upright scope can “do the job” then it should be used instead of the Deconvolution or Spinning Disk scopes, which are more subject to breakage.

Upright scope: Nikon Eclipse E800

This sophisticated microscope features high quality lenses for brightfield, contrast, and fluorescence imaging.

Capabilities:
• Useful for brightfield, contrast, and fluorescence imaging (DAPI, GFP, Alexa)
• Ideal for fixed specimens (oil objectives)

Price: $25/hour for unassisted use and $50/hour for assisted/training use
Capabilities:
• Imaging brightfield and fluorophores (DAPI, GFP, Alexa)
• Z-sectioning

Spinning Disk: Olympus BXS1W1

This sophisticated microscope features high quality lenses for brightfield, contrast, and fluorescence imaging.

Price: $25/hour for unassisted use and $50/hour for assisted/training use
Capabilities:
• Imagine green, blue, red, and far-red fluorophores (GFP, Alexa 488/568/647)
