OUR HISTORY

Step back in time with a visit to a local plantation. At the Cabildo on Jackson Square, see the room where the Louisiana Purchase was signed. Visit the site of the Battle of New Orleans, the final significant battle in the War of 1812, just minutes away from downtown. At the National World War II Museum, see the landing craft built by New Orleans factory workers that were used in the successful amphibious invasions of WWII.
