Podcasting

Introduction

Podcasting allows a teacher to record a lecture, presentation, or other audio and make it available to the world (or in the education world, your class).  There are many different flavors of podcast however, they all have the basic elements of:

1. Recorded audio

2. A distribution using RSS (or Real Simple Sindication).  This RSS feed can be picked up by a variety of audio managers such as iTunes, and can automatically check to see if there are any new recordings available.
