Comprehensive training is assured by rotations through several hospitals. Residents obtain exposure to all aspects of plastic surgery including: reconstructive surgery (breast, head & neck), microsurgery, cleft lip and palate surgery, craniofacial and maxillofacial surgery, hand surgery, trauma (facial, lower extremities, replantations), reconstruction of burn deformities, ophthalmic plastic surgery and aesthetic surgery. The resident performs approximately five hundred surgical procedures in each year of training. We have a strong core curriculum effort with extremely high success by our graduates on the board examinations offered by American Board of Plastic Surgery.
