Regional and International Patients

Many of our patients travel from regional or international locations; New Orleans is readily accessible by interstate and is home to the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport

If you are traveling from a distance that will require an overnight stay there are many hotels that are within close proximity to the Tulane Hernia Center. Please note that patients are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements.  Our Patient Concierge can provide you with a list of nearby hotels, or hotel information can be obtained from the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau website at www.nomcvb.com.  Please contact our Surgery Clinic at (504) 988-5110 if you have any questions.

If you are traveling from outside of the United States contact your country’s Bureau of Consular Affairs or the U.S. State Department (www.travel.state.gov) to see if you need to obtain a travel visa. Please make sure to allow time for your request to be processed. Contact the U.S. State Department or your government consulate if you need assistance.
