Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Serves as personnel services officer for four Plastic Surgery Fellows. Coordinates and facilitates recruitment/appointment/credentialing/review procedures for the fellows in the Plastic Surgery Division; monitor rotation and vacation schedules for fellows; prepare on-call schedules; monitor performance and evaluations utilizing the Advanced Informatics (E*Value Program). Serves as liaison for the Plastic Surgery Division of Tulane and affiliated hospitals regarding fellow’s rotation assignments; and message/information center management. Acts as liaison to the department of surgery GME office and assists with development and implementation of educational policy and the required ACGME program documentation. Initiates and maintains systems for reporting required data to Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, American Board of Plastic Surgery, Web Ads and E*Value. Coordinates and facilitates house staff contracts, Louisiana and other State Medical licensure process and renewal. Provide updated information to the San Francisco Match. Performs other resident related duties as required and perform other management activities as requested by the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Division Program Director.
Education & Special Certifications: Associate of Science Degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from Tulane University,and a Diploma in Medical Assistance Secretarial. I'm an affiliate member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and also a member of the American Council of Academic Plastic Surgeons (ACAPS).
